We are so excited to present this year's spring conference in Columbia, Missouri. Please scroll through this page for general information about the conference. Make sure to check back often as we will continue posting vendors, guest presenters and other opportunities.
To get registered officially follow the link below to visit our registration page. Registration for our our conference is a two part process. Please make sure to fill out the Google Form AND submit payment.
PRESENTING
PRESENTATION PROPOSALS ARE BEING ACCEPTED
Proposals are due by January 15th. Presentation supplies can be reimbursed up to $35 per presentation. Presenters will be notified late January of their acceptance (if you need confirmation prior to this date please reach out).

KEYNOTE SPEAKERS
KE Griffin
KE is a dynamic Art Quilter and Certified National Storyteller, she weaves narratives through the artistry of fabric and performance. Her creative process is an innovative alchemy, transforming materials into narratives that engage the senses and intellect alike.
Dr. RitaDoris Ubah
Dr. Ubah is a prominent Nigerian artist and educator celebrated for her significant contributions to the artistic landscape of West Africa. Her commitment to art as a transformative tool is evident in her philosophy: "I see art as the solution."

GUEST PRESENTERS
Mark Rivard
Mark is owner of "Do Rad Things" based in MN. He will be giving a presentation with local author of "Dropping In" Robert Petrone about Arts for Profit as well as a hands-on super session using skateboards as the medium.
Kelsey Hammond
Kelsey has long worked in nonprofit arts organizations is currently the director at Columbia Art League. She is passionate about integrating art into our daily lives through making, looking, and appreciating.
Michael Albert
Recently, Michael has been creating large-scale "Epic" collage works on various themes including History, Literature, Religion & Philosophy, Music, Poetry, etc. Work with him on a large-scale Map of Missouri in our Vendor Space!
Snow Pond Ceramics
Katie Barnes is the owner of Snow Pond Ceramics. Katie started creating tiny houses after her ceramics studio closed during the pandemic. Now she specializes in miniature art.
David Spear
David's artistic practice is grounded in a deep appreciation for the transformative power of art. He finds inspiration and insight into the human experience through art. Learn about and tour his Columbia-area murals during conference.

OFFSITE WORKSHOPS
We will have a TON of community connections from Orr Street Studios, Seger Reeves Gallery, Columbia Arts League and even tours of area schools. More details about how to sign up for or attend these offsite workshops and events will be sent out to registrants as the conference date gets closer.
Access Arts
Enjoy a raku firing, learning how to mix glazes, throwing on the wheel and participate in collaborative weaving projects.
SHSMO
Tour the gallery space, view collections related to Missouri Art Education Association and learn how to complete successful research projects.
Mizzou Botanical Gardens
Enjoy creating your conference Plein Air submission while touring the University's grounds blooming native trees this spring.
