Picturing Writing: Fostering Literacy Through Art®
Location: Avenue City School, St. Joseph, MO
Dates/Times: June 16 & 17, 2005 8:30 am - 4:00 pm
Who should attend? elementary classroom teachers, visual art teachers, language arts teachers, reading specialists, language resource teachers, special education teachers, and teachers of enrichment programs. Click here for Registration Form.
Bring: a bag lunch each day and a paint smock or old shirt
Cost: $295.00 per person (includes 3 Picturing Writing manuals and use of all workshop art materials)
Credit: 1 graduate credit through Northwest Missouri State University is available for an additional fee of $75.00. Northwest will invoice for the $75.00 fee. Please do not include the graduate credit fee with the workshop registration fee.

Saint Louis Watercolor Society
The Saint Louis Watercolor Society is offering two workshops with nationally
known artists for 2005.
The first is Discover the
Natural Talent within You: Watermedia by Edward Minchin. Workshop
dates: June 6-10, 2005. The cost is $370
The second is "The
Brush and Beyond" Experimental Workshop with Mary Ann Beckwith,NWS.
Workshop dates: October 21-23,2005 The cost is $230.
